We've hit a few. Unfortunately, the Carson High show is being postponed and the Knitting Factory show as well. We'll get things straightened out but until then just stay tuned.

The Shows Must Go On

Moves are being made! Here's the latest on the greatest:

Skye High performances:
February 29: 5p-10p, @ Carson High School. $3-5 [unsure at this moment]. Performing with Verbs & Lite
March 16: @ the Knitting Factory. Tentative; more info TBA [to be announced]
April: @ the Spliff. More info TBA

And of course the mixtape will be dropping April 28th

FREE SKYE HIGH

Yes, we are confirming your suspicions, Skye High is in jail.
He was taken in Thursday nite, and we are praying for a speedy
release. Right now there is nothing we can do but offer him our
support and our prayers. The most important thing we have is
our love and patience...its all about timing .
We are confident that he will be home within the next few days.
Until then your support is greatly appreciated. We believe in our
Skye and cant wait for him to come home. =)

Addressing Some Issues

What's good everybody? Let's address some issues and concerns.

Issue #1: Haters and assumers are people that we simply chuckle at. So if you're trying to damper our spirits, I suggest you find another profession; that one isn't going to get you very far at all. WE ARE NOT imitation F2D Ladies. Although they are our inspiration, we are simply associated, not affiliated. Please get your facts straight before jumping to conclusions.

Issue #2: Skye High is tentatively scheduled to perform at Carson High's senior benefit show "Battle of the Bands" on February 29. The show will be from 6pm to 10pm and the proceeds are going towards the Carson High's senior class to graduate at the Home Depot Center (Lefty NEEDS to graduate at the Home Depot Center).

Issue #3: We are currently in the midst of scheduling some shows at The Knitting Factory, The Roxy, more high schools and some colleges as well.

There's a lot going on in everyone's lives at the moment but we're making things happen. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to state them via comments. If they're negative, you will continue to be laughed at.

We're Still Here

We didn't want anybody to think we were some one hit wonders; we're still here! Right now we're in the process of making some important moves and getting the ball rolling. Skye High is getting some shows put on the calendar, laying down those tracks, all that good stuff. Check out his blog to see what's going on in his life in the mean time. We'll be getting back to the music as soon as possible.

Hello New World

First off, the High Girls as a whole would like to welcome you to TheHighGirls.Blogspot.com. Secondly, we would like to inform you that we are NOT A CLIQUE! We are a female promotional street team stationed in Southern California. The original members of the High Girls include: Bee, Lefty, Mandie, DJ Angie Ang, Kasey, Nisha, Gabbs, & Carla.

Our sole purpose as a street team is the promotion of:
A) Skye High as an artist
B) His appearances at shows and/or events
C) His music in general, including mixtapes and single tracks

So this blog is musically inclined. It's hard to believe that there's a group of girls with no drama between them, and yet, here we are! Stay tuned; the blog is just getting started but we're going hard!
